Mexico
Los Cabos
Mexico's Pacific coast — desert-meets-ocean drama instead of Caribbean palm beaches.
About Los Cabos
Airport & Transfer
Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is the gateway. Direct flights from major US and Canadian hubs are available but less frequent than Cancún. Flight times: 5 hours from Toronto, 6 hours from New York, 2.5 hours from Los Angeles. Resort transfers run 30–45 minutes.
Best Wedding Seasons
October–May is the main wedding season — pleasant temperatures, low humidity. June–September runs hot, with occasional Pacific storm activity. The seasonal pattern is different from the Caribbean side of Mexico — Los Cabos has its own climate.
Why Los Cabos
Los Cabos is for couples whose visual reference for a destination wedding isn't a coconut palm and a turquoise lagoon — it's a sunset over the ocean from a clifftop with desert mountains behind. Different photos, different vibe.

Frequently Asked
Planning a Los Cabos wedding
How is Los Cabos different from Cancún for a wedding?
Different coast, different climate, different visual aesthetic. Los Cabos is desert-meets-Pacific; Cancún is jungle-meets-Caribbean. Los Cabos sunsets are over the water (Pacific-facing); Cancún is sunrise-over-water. Different palette for photos.
Are direct flights to Los Cabos easy from Canada?
Direct flights from Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary are available but less frequent than to Cancún. We help guests connect via US hubs (Houston, Dallas, LA, Phoenix) when direct routing isn't available on their dates.
How does Los Cabos weather compare to Cancún for a wedding?
Los Cabos is drier and less humid year-round. October through May is reliably pleasant. Summer is hotter and has occasional Pacific storm activity. Hurricane risk is lower than the Caribbean side but not zero.
Are South Asian weddings well-supported in Los Cabos?
Hard Rock Los Cabos has executed SA weddings before; the program is less mature than at Hard Rock Riviera Maya or Hard Rock Punta Cana. We run the planning slightly more hands-on at Los Cabos for SA couples.
