Baglioni Hotel Luna Venice
About the Resort
Baglioni Hotel Luna sits on the Grand Canal side of San Marco, a short walk from St Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace. Once a residence of the Knights Templar and later the Osteria della Luna, it is considered the city's first hotel. Its rooms and suites run from Superior and Canal View rooms to the San Giorgio Terrace Suite, whose terrace looks across the basin to the island of San Giorgio Maggiore. The Marco Polo Ballroom, with its painted ceilings and Murano chandeliers, hosts wedding dinners, and the San Giorgio and Sansovino terraces suit ceremonies and aperitivo with a lagoon view. Santo Mare serves seafood from Italian waters, and the Canova Bar is set for cocktails.
Wedding Planning Notes
Venice Marco Polo airport is about 10 km away by water taxi, and Santa Lucia station 4 km. Everything in Venice moves by boat or on foot, so guest transfers and deliveries need planning.
