Half Moon
About the Resort
Half Moon opened in 1954 in Rose Hall, Montego Bay, and now covers 400 acres with two miles of beachfront. Guests choose between Eclipse, which opened in 2020, the cottages and rooms of Founders Cove, and the five to seven bedroom Rose Hall Villas with private pools and staff. Facilities include Fern Tree, A Salamander Spa, an 18-hole Robert Trent Jones Sr. golf course and an equestrian centre. Its wedding team works with venues from the Great House Lawn to Sunrise Beach, which holds up to 500 guests.
Wedding Planning Notes
Half Moon is about 10 minutes from Montego Bay airport. Guests can choose between hotel rooms, Eclipse suites and fully staffed villas, which works well for wedding parties who want to stay together.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a visa to travel to Jamaica?
U.S. and Canadian citizens do not require a visa to enter Jamaica for tourism stays of up to 90 days. A valid passport is required at entry.
What are the passport validity requirements?
Jamaica requires your passport to be valid for the full duration of your stay. We recommend at least 6 months of validity beyond your return date to avoid issues with connecting airlines or onward travel.
Is travel insurance required?
While travel insurance is not mandatory, we strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance. It must be bought at the time of booking or within 48 hours after your reservation. Please note that your group reservation is 100% non-refundable, non-transferable, and no changes can be made.
When will my e-tickets and travel documents be issued?
E-documents are typically issued 5-7 business days prior to your travel date. Once we receive the tickets, we will send them directly to the email address provided during booking.
When I make my reservation, what will appear on my credit card statement?
By completing your reservation, you are authorizing DreamWed to process your payment on behalf of the chosen supplier. The charge will appear on your credit card statement as either the specific airline/supplier or DreamWed.
How do I complete my booking?
To complete your booking, simply click the "Book Now" button on the resort page and follow the instructions, or reach out to your DreamWed concierge who will process the reservation on your behalf.
