Palazzo Firenze by Baglioni
About the Resort
Palazzo Firenze occupies Palazzo Ciofi-Jacometti, an 18th-century residence on Via Ghibellina, a two-minute walk from the Basilica of Santa Croce and about ten minutes on foot from Piazza della Signoria. Formerly the Relais Santa Croce, it was recently renovated, keeping the original frescoes, stuccoes and doors alongside contemporary interiors. Its 24 rooms and suites range from Deluxe rooms to the Da Verrazzano Suite and the 260 m² Santa Croce Royal Suite, several with views of the Duomo or Santa Croce. The Sala della Musica, once the palazzo's ballroom, hosts receptions and aperitivo concerts beneath its stucco ceiling, and the Guelfi and Ghibellini restaurant serves Tuscan and Mediterranean cuisine. The palazzo can be reserved in full, which suits intimate weddings of up to 100 guests.
Wedding Planning Notes
Florence airport (FLR) is about 10 km away, and Pisa airport is about an hour by car or train. With 24 rooms, larger groups usually split their stay with nearby hotels, and traffic limits in the historic centre mean guest transfers need planning.
