About the Resort

Wedding Planning Notes
Paradisus Palma Real is a 600-room Meliá resort on Bávaro Beach in Punta Cana, about 25 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). It runs both family and adults-only zones, with the Royal Service tier offering butler-level service. The venue roster is one of the deepest in the portfolio — a beach that takes cocktail setups up to 1,500, plus garden, plaza, and terrace venues — so it handles genuinely large celebrations. The wedding program runs on Meliá's room-block model with escalating private-event hours, and the resort has an in-house Indian chef and Indian buffet menus.
