About the Resort
Sanctuary Cap Cana is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort in the gated Cap Cana community on Playa Juanillo, 15 minutes from Punta Cana International. It relaunched in 2022 as Marriott's first all-inclusive in The Luxury Collection. The architecture is Spanish-colonial, with terracotta towers, courtyards and a castle-style suite on a private island reached by a footbridge. That setting is the draw for weddings: ceremonies on the island lawn, a stilted palapa over the water, a colonial terrace and an indoor ballroom that each seat 250 for dinner. 324 suites.
Wedding Planning Notes
Sanctuary Cap Cana is adults-only, so it suits weddings without children in the guest list. Several of the signature venues carry a privatization fee on top of the package: the Island Suite ($5,000, which includes the two-bedroom suite for the couple), the Blue Marlin Restaurant and Portico ($7,000), the Ballroom ($5,000), the Aqua Bar and the Ocean Terrace ($3,000 each) and the Casabella Patio ($2,500, not available on Fridays). Décor is extra at every venue. Punta Cana International (PUJ) is about 15 minutes away.

Do I need a visa to travel to the Dominican Republic?
U.S. and Canadian citizens do not require a visa to enter the Dominican Republic for tourism stays of up to 30 days. A valid passport is required at entry.
What are the passport validity requirements?
Your passport must be valid for the entire length of your stay in the Dominican Republic. We recommend at least 6 months of validity beyond your return date.
Is travel insurance required?
While travel insurance is not mandatory, we strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance. It must be bought at the time of booking or within 48 hours after your reservation. Please note that your group reservation is 100% non-refundable, non-transferable, and no changes can be made.
When will my e-tickets and travel documents be issued?
E-documents are typically issued 5-7 business days prior to your travel date. Once we receive the tickets, we will send them directly to the email address provided during booking.
When I make my reservation, what will appear on my credit card statement?
By completing your reservation, you are authorizing DreamWed to process your payment on behalf of the chosen supplier. The charge will appear on your credit card statement as either the specific airline/supplier or DreamWed.
How do I complete my booking?
