About the Resort

W Istanbul opened in 2008 as W Hotels' first property in Europe, inside the restored Akaretler Row Houses built in the 1870s for Dolmabahce Palace staff. It has about 140 rooms and suites, the W Living Room, and a spa and fitness area. Event space is modest at about 250 sq m, with four W Studios, the W Secret Garden and the W Lounge. It suits intimate gatherings, a welcome party or a pre-wedding event rather than a large wedding.

The largest room holds about 70 for a reception, so W Istanbul suits an intimate wedding, a welcome party or an after-party within a larger Istanbul program.
