About the Resort
W Punta Cana is the W brand's first all-inclusive resort, opened in August 2025 on the quieter Uvero Alto coast north of Punta Cana. It is adults-only (18+), with 340 rooms and suites, 46 of them with swim-up or private pools, and 13 included restaurants, bars and cafés. The feel is W: design-led, music-forward and social rather than traditional. Wedding settings run from the beach and the Oasis Garden to the Satsuma rooftop and the WET Deck, with the indoor Great Room seating 240 for dinner.
Wedding Planning Notes
W Punta Cana is in Uvero Alto, about 45 minutes by road from Punta Cana International (PUJ), so plan guest transfers early; they are not included. The resort is adults-only, and the AWAY Spa is not part of the all-inclusive. Its 2026 wedding packages run from an elopement for two to a celebration for the couple plus 48 guests, with private cocktail and reception time built in. Fees apply for outside vendors such as photographers and DJs.

Do I need a visa to travel to the Dominican Republic?
U.S. and Canadian citizens do not require a visa to enter the Dominican Republic for tourism stays of up to 30 days. A valid passport is required at entry.
What are the passport validity requirements?
Your passport must be valid for the entire length of your stay in the Dominican Republic. We recommend at least 6 months of validity beyond your return date.
Is travel insurance required?
While travel insurance is not mandatory, we strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance. It must be bought at the time of booking or within 48 hours after your reservation. Please note that your group reservation is 100% non-refundable, non-transferable, and no changes can be made.
When will my e-tickets and travel documents be issued?
E-documents are typically issued 5-7 business days prior to your travel date. Once we receive the tickets, we will send them directly to the email address provided during booking.
When I make my reservation, what will appear on my credit card statement?
By completing your reservation, you are authorizing DreamWed to process your payment on behalf of the chosen supplier. The charge will appear on your credit card statement as either the specific airline/supplier or DreamWed.
How do I complete my booking?
To complete your booking, simply click the "Book Now" button on the resort page and follow the instructions, or reach out to your DreamWed concierge who will process the reservation on your behalf.
