Frequently Asked Questions
How many terrace & rooftop wedding venues are there in Jamaica?
DreamWed works with 11 terrace & rooftop wedding venues across 4 resorts in Jamaica. Capacities run from 30 to 340 guests, so there are options for both small ceremonies and large multi-day celebrations.
What is the largest terrace wedding venue in Jamaica?
The largest in our portfolio seats up to 340 guests. Capacity figures are the resort's stated maximum for a seated event — the workable number is usually lower once you add a dance floor, staging or buffet, so confirm the layout with us before you commit to a guest list.
Can we hold both the ceremony and reception at the same venue?
Often yes, though most couples move between spaces — a terrace setting for the ceremony, then a separate space for dinner and dancing. Resorts usually allow a turnover if the guest count fits both. We plan the flow so guests are never left waiting.
What happens if it rains?
Every resort holds an indoor backup, normally a ballroom, and calls it a few hours ahead based on the forecast. Ask what the backup space actually is before booking — it varies a lot in quality between properties, and it is the single most useful question you can ask about an outdoor venue.
